Skelly seems to be a typical emo kid with his long fringe, tight pants, and excessive eyeliner. However, he is much more than that. He is not shy at all, sometimes to a fault. He is gregarious, dramatic, and very comfortable around other people. Skelly is also a huge theatre nerd. He's played some part in every school play since 6th grade, and he took drama electives all through junior high. Alongside emo music, he's always listening to songs from various musicals. Because of his interests and personality, many other students find to be cringey and obnoxious. He's always loved to sing because of his love of musicals. When they first started the band, Skelly was playing guitar, though he's not very good because he only learned to play out of necessity. Stella took over his guitar duties when he annoyed her into joining the band.

Everybody knows Stilts, but no one really knows him. He's somewhat of a chameleon, easily blending into any social circle with his laid-back (though slightly strange) personality. He was given his nickname in 4th grade because he was the shortest in the class and another student joked that he would need stilts on picture day, and he's just stuck with it since. If you're looking for him at lunch, your best bet on where to find him is the computer lab.

Stella has spent all of junior and senior high cultivating a reputation that she is not to be messed with. She's carved a spot for herself in a group of skater girls, but the truth is she's never even touched a skateboard. Behind her false persona of fists and insults, Stella is a very loyal friend to the rest of the band. When Skelly started talking to her, she was dismissive because she only saw him as an emotional, dramatic, theatre nerd who she could never be seen talking to, but she found herself talking and enjoying his company more and more. Stella's very passionate about guitar and music and started playing guitar at age 12 because of her favourite band.

Steve is well liked by the general school population. He's the star of the school's football and hockey teams and is very friendly. He became interested in drums when he and one of the marching band kids accidentally got mixed up during a football game. Because Steve is so outgoing, he has a lot of friends, and he kind of brought the band together.

On the surface, Stacy seems to be a shallow, ditzy girl who only cares about high school drama and shopping. But she's also really into metal! She plays guitar in her spare time and can totally shred! Sometimes people assume that she's a poser, or that she doesn't really play guitar because of her style. So whether people love or hate her for her miniskirts, heels, and makeup, that's alright because she knows there's more to her than that. Her group of friends seem petty and mean... Which they are sometimes, but Stella really does try to stay nice. She's a very sweet person when she's not around them, but occasionally she falls victim to peer pressure and participates in their bullying. Her friends were unaware of her involvement in the band at first, but when they found out they were all very supportive. They are cheerleaders after all!
